For those wanting a short "getaway" to the coast.........nothing like seeing the sun rise over the Atlantic Ocean..........casual dress, bring a beach chair....
Holy Name of Jesus Church (Roman Catholic) of Indialantic by the Sea, will host sunrise service at 6:30 a.m. Sunday at Canova Beach Park, 3299 SR A1A, Indian Harbour Beach. Call 321-255-4400. (In the past, they have had quite a turnout on the beach with absolutely beautiful sunrise with several priests giving out communion).
Easter Sunrise service, hosted by First Christian Church of Cocoa Beach, at 7 a.m. at Jetty Park, 400 Jetty Park Drive, Cape Canaveral. $5 parking fee charged by the Canaveral Port Authority. 321-783-4303.
Easter masses at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 3780 S. SR A1A, Melbourne Beach. Bring a chair for sunrise service. Call 321-725-0552.

Truly a nice feature of living in Florida is to be able to enjoy good weather at sunrise on Easter morning.
The sunrise creating such a sparkling appearance on the ocean is truly magnificent.
The colors of the sunrise alone......make one feel close to God. Good for peace and serenity.
