We are a breed specific 501(c)3 non-profit dachshund rescue in need of foster homes. We can only save as many dogs as we have space for. Fostering is a good way to enjoy having a dog, but not being committed to dog ownership for years and years. Plus you get to enjoy having a dog around without having to pay the vet bills. The rescue pays the vet bills.

Are you interested in helping a little dachshund who is in between homes? By the way, did you know that on the application you can tell us what kind of things you would find desirable or not. If you don't want to foster a dog that has been abused or is recovering long term from a medical issue, etc., you can tell us that. We try to match people to the dogs.
