One thing I do know is that I do know nothing.

IMHO - If every post on this forum was an eloquent answer to every question that someone had, there would be a lot less posting.

As a wannabee, I do not claim or pretend to know answers to questions that I have not experienced myself. I will try to make pertinent information available to a question that someone needs answers to or point them in the right direction.

It is fun to get to know each other and to see if you are like minded to establish friendships. By getting to know some of the members, one can form an opinion on who can best answer their questions or who they want to develop friendships with. I enjoy the good natured people and very knowledgeable members on this forum and it helps me to feel connected to TV until that great day comes when I become a frog.

As Pturner says, "It is ribbitting".

Keep in mind that, as we used to say in EST, you don't know what you don't know. And if someone else doesn't know what they don't know, maybe, together, we do know.

There are those who post everything about nothing and nothing about everything. Just a waste of bandwidth as is this post !

I haven't heard of EST in years. I kinda thought it was forgotten- thanks for the memory jog. Maybe I wouldn't have needed it if I I had been ESTed .

Jim: just curious...which lot in St James is yours? Our lot is 41, on Yankee Clipper Run; closing is 22 days away. We made a w/end run up to TV from SoFla to check on progress and to try to take care of a few move-in related issues.

Yes, I know. A pm would've been more appropriate but I presume that wannabes, soon-to-be and others in my situation can live vicariously through the post while frogs and snowbird owners can relate.
Lot 29 on Hopespring Loop.

Hijack away. Judging from the posts so far, I would saw that we are mostly just fooling around anyway on this thread.

You know what's really ironic? Some of the people referred to have also posted a reply on this topic. Go figure....

I agree . One does learn quite a bit. Ditto for your comment on Facebook.

This is a wonderful grapevine for gathering facts and information about a different retirement choice..........

However, sometimes I do wonder if the frequent posters are not part of the administration or "paid" posters.

Just a thought as no one could sit by their computer day and night without accomplishing something else on their life's journey. Plus, even if an innocent query is put forward..........the responses seem to be sugar coated.
Maybe it's a southern thing after all.
