There are several car clubs, and I am sure that in any one of them you will find people involved in the restoration of their cars. What type of cat do you have? If you are interested in doing the work yourself, there are a couple of garages that you can rent in the area, one I think is in Wildwood. If you are not interested in doing the work yourself, the are also a couple of restoration shops in the area (Ocala, and Leesburg) as I recall.
I am into Mustangs, my wife Corvettes.

thanks, I'm actually restoring a 1972 Honda 350 that I gave my father in law when he was 60 and he gave it back to me when he died at 92. The garage in Wildwood sounds like the best option for some of the detail work that i can't do in my garage. What is the name of the garage I can rent?

I had most of the heavy work finished before moving here, so the remaining work, buffing the paint, installing the interior and window glass, finishing the wiring, etc was done here in our garage.

Hi, depending the condition, do not paint, the original patina is better. Clean, brush all electrical connections. The points clean carefully, the older ones are better than the replacements. Carbs, always interesting, clean or have them go thru a hydronic cleaner. Cables, oil them. Are the piston free, I hope, put some light oil in them, the bike in highest gear, [COLOR=""rock the rear tire A Little" each day. buy a battery. rust on fenders chrome cleaner & 0000 steel wool easy. Get battery, gas & see if it runs. after its been run change the oil, all the crud had consolidated in the lower areas. All this can be fun in your own garage. The fancy stuff can be done later, Dave
