I'm thinking of starting a new Group and would like some information on how to proceed.

Instruction are in the rec newspaper.

Basically you fill out a form and get it approved by the rec dept. Then they post an ad in the rec newspaper to determine if there is enough interest. Usually you need somewhere around twenty five people to respond so it's best if you get all of your friends to sign up.

After a period of time if they get enough responses, they approve the club and find a rec center and time. You can request a specific rec center and time, but chances are you'll end up in one of the newer centers down south unless an existing club breaks up.

Look in the rec newspaper on the first page of the club listing for all the information.
