Default Firewood

If you have a fire pit and want wood delivered, we had the nicest family bring us wood and stack it. Reliable, on time, a nice mix of wood including cherry, and such nice people. Call Jon 813 786 2375 and tell him the people from Mission Hills recommended him. We got a face cord delivered and stacked for $125 but paid $140 for the good service.

I didn't know a fire pit was allowed here in the Villages. I would be concerned about neighbors complaining about the smoke. Is there a permit that is required?

Yes fire pits are allowed. In fact they are a feature in many homes in Pine Ridge area. We are fully permitted on everything we did at our home through the ARC. There is a set back from the property of about 5-7 feet, I cannot remember. But we built a custom seating area and a fire pit and it was permitted and inspected. We have an open area and view with no neighbors to the West and no one has complained. They do enjoy when invited over. It makes for a great evening. However we do have a prime location to do so.
