Default Fred Nickel Tile

Has anyone had any dealings with Fred Nickel Tile? My wife and I were impressed with the retail layout and our conversation with the manager and we are about to obtain quotes.

Thanks for your help

Fred Nickel Tile was the tile subcontractor on my recently completed (two months ago) house, which has quite a bit of elaborate tile work in the bathrooms and kitchen, and a fair amount of diagonally set floor tile in the walkways of the house. It is a Premier, so it is a somewhat larger than average house for The Villages, along with a bit more frou frou.

They did a really fine job - excellent workmanship, nice choice of materials, and an excellent overall design. Since it was part of the original construction, I really have no idea what the actual charge for the tile work was, or how that would compare to some other tile contractor if the work was done as an improvement to an existing property. But having said that, I'm pleased with the work they did and would definitely hire them again.

Hope this helps.

Thanks

I will certainly try to do business with them. We are closing on Feb 7 and would like to ask him to come out for a quote.

Appreciate the response

Nickel Tile did my Lanai and kitchen back splash (tile) as well as laminate flooring for the whole CYV. Great job, on time and reasonable. Ditto for my neighbor.

I have had an unsatisfactory experience with Nickel Tile. There has been a problem with the tile and carpeting in our home. I got the run around from some of Nickel's employees then Fred himself promised to contact Mohawk and have them look at both tile and carpeting as he felt perhaps there was in fact a problem. He never did!
