Default Tile flooring question

When you had tile flooring installed did the workers use brooms or vacuums during the process? And did they use drop cloths to cover furnishings etc? Just curious.
Thank you!

Our rooms were unfurnished, so I don't know.

The do all the cutting - which is the messiest part - outdoors. After the tile is installed and grouted, the floors were wet-mopped a number of times. As home renovations go, it was not messy. It took about 6 hours to do two bedrooms.

They moved all our furniture to the extra bedrooms, closed doors. They cleaned and mopped the floor. The dust did linger for awhile but worth the trouble
