If you are looking for fixed canvas awnings, call Sunshine Awnings at 352-787-4436.
If you are looking for retractable awnings, call RK Products at 352-430-4430.

Are awnings allowed? I do not recall ever seeing any.

Yes, my neighbor has one on the front of a gardenia (den area), and one on the back between the master bedroom windows to cover his grill area. Looks nice

Caution with Sunshine Awnings... I pleaded and begged so they would give me the heads up when they were coming out to install the awnings, so I could be home. Was told that they don't do that...and that they had taken down specifics as to what height I wanted the awnings installed. I explained that because you first deal with the salesman, then the guy who actually manufactures the awning, and then installers...that I was afraid my instructions would not be followed, and my siding messed up. Long story short... They wouldn't budge, and sure enough... I now have holes on my siding that need repairing. With our community growing as fast as it is...all the business makes many of these companies cocky, and insensitive. Fortunately, with the growth of our community also come new companies, giving us options. I will never use or recommend Sunshine Awnings again...
