Default Eyebrow threading

Is anyone there familiar with the art of eyebrow threading? I am looking for a salon in the villages or nearby that does it. I had it done to my eyebrows in a mall in Columbus Ga and it was wonderful. Much better than waxing. The ladies that do it are from India. It is a very old art. They know how to shape your eyebrows. It last longer than waxing and is not irritating. It stings a little but you can tolerate it. You can look on line and see videos of it being done.

GG, you really are sick.... funny but truly sick...LOLOL.

Doster, I have had that done and I agree with everything you state.
I had it done in LA by an Egyptian woman and she was fantastic. If you find someone here, let us know. You might be better off looking in Orlando as you will get a great quantity of salons to chose from. Good Luck...

I have seen it done at a mall, but have never had it done. It's remarkable that they could do it precisely enough to shape eyebrows!

...and GG, fear not to watch. It looks more like playing a guitar than sewing. lol

Gracie, I had no idea what eyebrow threading was either! Just picturing a needle and thread up near my eyes gave me the willies! I found this video that demonstrates exactly what it is. Turns out it was taped at a salon from back home. I guess I HAVE been gone from there for a long time!!

I, too, had no idea what this was! Thanks for the video, Jo.

When doster asked about eyebrow threading I thought it was like the cheek wires they use for facelifts, do you know what I mean? I thought that maybe they use threads to pull up that extra skin that mysteriously appeared between my eyebrows and my eyes. I don't know where it came from. I'm pretty sure I didn't have it last month.
