If you do it will probably be from stress worrying about the arrival of, wait for it, here it comes, A GOLF CLUB.

Can you begin to imagine how many orders were placed during the golf fest (not fair)? I do know and it is more than you could imagine. The people at Sarasota Golf Center (SGC) worked countless hours after the golf fest to process all of the orders, just like your wife's, and every time that send button was pressed to send a persons order, just like your wife's, to the club manufacturer, then receiving her order back became the mercy of the club manufacturer's to build her club and send it back to SGC. So, in essence, SGC is also at the mercy of the club manufacturer's to receive, process, build (hopefully correct) and ship the orders out to SGC in a timely matter.

I can assure you that your wife will get a call that her driver is in very shortly after it arrives.

On another board, someone posted that Callaway is way behind due to the popularity of their Epic driver. Orders for all clubs that used to take a few days are now taking weeks. Your club company may be in a similar position as the winter subsides and the whole hemisphere gets back on the course.

It would be nice to get an update, tho'.

A GENTLEMAN came into the shop the other day concerned that his order hadn't been drop shipped to his home (it had been 4 weeks also); the Recoil shafts he had ordered had been backordered, then the new shipment of shafts that were delivered to the factory didn't pass inspection. His clubs were due to be shipped to him this week (per the manufacturer rep.); he was okay with that (he did still have his old clubs to play with and didn't have to get on TOTV to query thousands of people who know absolutely nothing about a golf club order process). The Villages is not that big, why not take a little drive to Sarasota and ask to speak to an Asst. Mgr. and he will gladly look up YOUR WIFE'S order to let you know what the hold up is due to.

So we can all understand the problem - the hold up has been the delay from the manufacturer, not Sarasota, correct? It is being drop shipped to you from the manufacturer, not Sarasota, correct?

Let's all pray that it arrives real soon (from the manufacturer, not Sarasota) so as to avoid a medical issue.

Ignore the rude and unnecessary comments, you have every right to start a thread asking if others have had delays...in getting their orders also.

Glad to hear you finally got it.

Truthfully, what address did the package ship from?

I'm glad it arrived so you can put the Xanax away.....
