Default Gastroenterologist in TV or nearby?

I tried to use the search feature on this subject but it is not functioning

Looking for gastroenterologist, those that only specialize in that field.

Preferably one that has it's own outpatient facility.

Also that use the more up to date prep procedure.....24 hours before procedure (vs 2-3 day agony).

Just bumping this up because it got lost while the new post access was in distress.

Or.....nobody in TV has had a need for a gastroenterologist

PS...now that the search feature is working I was able to read up on previous postings on this subject.

Anything recent to be added would be appreciated.

You can't go wrong with any of the doctors at Gastroenerology Associates. In addition to Dr. Truesdale, my wife and I use Dr. Mathew. Procedures (colonoscopy) are done very efficiently and professionally. You are guided every step of the way.

We've used the practice of Dr. Truesdale and Dr Matthew (both are excellent). Office's in The Sharon Morse Bldg. They do have out-patient facilities too. You can't go wrong with anyone in their practice.

Another vote for the Truesdale practice. I would see any of the docs, they are all excellent!

I had a colonoscopy about three years ago by Dr. Nemhe Gabriel. Prep was one day before. I was very satisfied. He has his own facility nearby where they do the procedure.

Another recommendation for Truesdale et al. Started seeing Dr. Truesdale eight years ago.

Dr. Truesdale is no longer accepting new patients.
I am now looking at one of their younger additions, Dr. Mathews and Dr. DiJong (sp?).

I see Dr. Mariana De Jongh-Beyer and highly recommend her. Many of my neighbors also go to her and everyone really likes her. Very professional, caring, and knowledgable.

I have tried for 3 years to find a good gastroenterologist. Thought I found one. Made an appointment 6 weeks out, went today, and they pulled a doctor switch on me again. My preferred doctor is "assigned elsewhere now". They didn't tell me until I arrived. Why is it so difficult to get continuity of care in this area? Another message: beware of GI doctors who are too eager to do scope procedures.

I chose to go with Gastroenterologist Associates and Dr. Mathew.
The others mentioned are either booked to far out or not taking new patients.
Got in to see Mathe in 2 weeks and scheduled colonoscopy the following week.
Their facility on the 3rd floor of the Sharn B Morse building is first class.

The Endoscopy Center was also first class in any measure meaningful to users of such facilities.

Dr. Mathew; very articulate, takes his time, when it is your turn he is focused solely on you, very detailed in descriptions of body parts and process to be under taken.

A+ all around.....10/10!

Located in the Sharon Morse Building. One of his associates punctured my colon during a routine colonoscopy. 5 operations since.
