Default Imaging Centers

Has anyone used Advanced Imaging Center or MIT Imaging Center? I do not want to use the smaller closed bore.

Lake Medical Imaging has an open MRI at one of their locations. Not sure which one. Give them a call.

We've been to Advanced Imaging on Hwy 441 several times over the years. They were on our previous insurances provider list. We were always treated professionally and in a timely manner. I had an open MRI there. It's a pretty easy procedure to endure.

Sand Lake Imaging, recently opened on CR466 near Rolling Acres Road, has a 3 Tesla MRI machine. Twice the magnetic field strength of Lake Medical Imaging's machines for a better image because of better signal-to-noise ratio.

I don't know if it is an open bore MRI machine.

Lake Medical Imaging at the Sharon Morse location has the large bore/open MRI.

I was there this morning.

I am not able to use the "cigar tube" bore machines....some what claustrophobic (just between the ears).

Some of the open bore locations have a mirror set up that lets you look out the window or at a set up television set (not the one at Sharon).

I jst have them put a cloth over my eyes and try to count the beats of the machine....no problem.

Lake Medical Imaging at the Sharon Morse Medical Center has the huge bore MRI. No problem if you're a bit claustrophobic or a larger person. And, it is state-of-the-art. I checked, and Sand Lake Imaging's MRI is a small bore.

Default Lake Medical Imaging Does MRI Right

Oh, and someone was talking about insurance - they take Medicare and most insurance so that should not be a problem for anyone.
