Default Tri County Orthopaedic Center

What really happened with this organization. I got a letter explaining that Tri County Orthopaedic Center will no longer be operating under this name and their office on 466 will be no longer. Surely there was a problem for this to happen so quickly. I have a knee replacement scheduled with Dr. Kerina and it is still going to happen, but things have changed.....

If you got the letter, then you are or were a patient. Call the new office number listed in that letter and confirm. Dr Kerina is one of the best, replaced my knee in early May and I was back up and around by Memorial Day!

I don't think this happened all of the sudden. In 2013, I was refered to their office by my PCP for a possible total knee replacement. The doctors name I do not remember. When I called for an appointment, I was told this doctor did not do knee replacements, though my PCP said he was very good. I called my doctors office and asked why they referred me to them. My doctor was not happy and must have called Tri County. Within the hour, Tri County called me and wanted to schedule me with the doctor I called about, and they said that doctor did do total knee replacements after all. I declined and called my doctor back.
My doctor was of the opinion that there were apparently internal problems at Tri County. I wanted no part of a group with internal problems. My doctor had also recommended Dr. Nguyen who was the one I chose for TKR. That was a great choice and I could not be more pleased with the result. To be clear, I have no opinion one way or another as to the expertise of any doctor at Tri County.
