I hail from Chicago also! Grew up near milwaukee and Damen area. (Wicker Park) Definitely miss some things about chicago but not the cold and snow.

Everything went well, but we were informed that we had lost some of our landscaping due to the unusual and inclement weather. We are planning on going down there for the month of April.

Hi Frank, My husband (Frank also) and I are from Lombard. We own a home in Hemingway - Patio Villa. Bought a year ago. But we won't be moving down for about three years. We will be going down the week of Thanksgiving and then returning to those cold Chicago winters we can't wait to get out of also.

We will close on December 23rd in Liberty Park with our back facing the Eagle Sanctuary. It is a Patio Villa and we can't wait to get away from the Chicago winters. Anyone from the Chicagoland area?
