HI LARRY,saw your comment regarding replacing your carpet because your tile is discontinued. I wanted to let you know that there are options to make it work with a different tile if you are interested in replacing the carpet. Of course tile lasts forever and in my opinion is much better than carpet.
One option you have would be using a wood plank look alike tile. You can just butt it up right to the tile and fill the area that has carpet with it. It comes in a lot of different colors and finishes and even textures. There are several layout options and the look is becoming very popular here The Villages. Another option would be to find a tile that is very similar to the tile that you already have and use that. What you would then do is change the direction of the new tile to the opposite of the existing tile.. You can also install a saddle that helps break up the different tiles. This option also looks very nice.
