Default Photographing Birds

We have a friend visiting who is a photography wizard especially interested in photographing birds here. Can you give us some suggestions as to best spots for this type of activity? What nature preserves are easily accessed for photography?

Thanks in advance.

We live right next to the Live Oaks Park and there is a look out there where people are always taking pictures, lots of birds. Also check out the Sharon Morse Preserve. Either place you should see some variety. I do photography and I am always taking pics of birds from our yard.
