Possibly the WORST customer service and warranty experience ever!
Having just purchased a house which D&D enclosed a lanai for the seller, the patio door was defective. D&D provided the "seller" with a agreement warranty that stated the door would be repaired. That was almost 3 months ago. Since that time I have been in contact with them and they have had one excuse after another. After multiple stories and commitments the door was last promised to be in on 15 February. On 26 February after having to contact them again for a status because they lacked the common courtesy of an update, they said the door came in on 25 February and they promised to install it today, 29 February between 8 and 10 AM. No further word, no courtesy of a phone call, nothing at all. Having spent nearly 40 years in the maintenance/construction industry this type of service only demonstrates a total disregard for customer service and customer satisfaction not to mention the lack of ability to stand behind your warranty or commitments.
I would not only withhold any recommendation to use this company but strongly encourage anyone to look elsewhere for any construction needs. In my opinion this level of response is disgraceful, disrespectful, unreliable and totally unprofessional.
