Lake Deaton?
 

Ever wondered if there is a Lake Deaton? Last year we tried every which way to see Lake Deaton as it is listed quite big on TV map. We couldn't get there from Hillsborough or from Pinellas no matter how I tried. I finally saw it. It is quite a huge lake but can't tell whether it is larger or large as Lake Miona. You go on 44A west which turns into 143 by turning left. By turning left by the first road, you end up at Deaton Park which isn't much of a park but there is a boat docking area like Lake Miona. Looks like pretty expensive plot of land around the lake. Could be more $2.4 million property in the making.

Go on Google Earth, it looks like it's about the size of Sumter.

New Çovenant Methodist Church's Śouth Campus will be on Lake Deaton.

When is New Covenant going to start building on their south campus? That is a smart move on the part of New Covenant to build a church on the south end of TV where a lot of new residents will probably be looking for a new church home.
