Question Appropiate Dress for Dining Out

We are visiting in a couple of weeks. Do any of the restaurants require coat and tie? Didn't know about the dress at the country clubs or other Villages restaurants. Thanks.

No code exists, but one would expect that clothing would be appropriate for dining out, but men should please not wear their hat while dining.

collored shirts on golf courses & driving ranges.
Aside from that 'almost' anything goes.
Personally, I don't like to see tank tops in restaurants!

What's a "coat and tie"? New cocktail?

Unfortunately - no. But I do enjoy it when I see some of the men in a sport jacket. Hubs always wears a sport jacket to Palmer and Lopez if we dine there on the weekend...and that makes me proud!

Default This is a casual place

The dressiest I see it is at the country clubs at dinner time. Men with polo shirts and shorts or khakis. Boat shoes. Women in capris and maybe a linen shirt with a pretty necklace. Sandals, flats or wedges.

Very very casual here in TV. I even see shorts at funerals. A golf shirt and shorts will get you in any Country Club Restaurant in TV.

I agree take off your hats while dinning. Come on show a bit of class.

Pleaswe don't wear a worn out cut off tee-shirt. Some men just don't give a darn. Some dress like slobs in a restaurant.

Those that dress up to go out to dinner are very clothes minded.

No, your dress and heels are never out of style when you enjoy dressing up and feel beautiful doing so. If it makes you feel good wear it.

You certainly can dress to go out here, I do. In the CC we use it is common to see woman in skirts and dresses and even summer maxi dresses.

If it makes you feel good ............. then do it. Almost anything goes in TV.

One must use some common sense if deciding to go to a certain event and or place.

Men dress pants and a nice shirt, is as good as it it gets. Jackets may be worn for those who feel it is their thing. No ties!!!!!

Shorts and dress shirts are good for almost all events. I personally wouldn't wear plaid, or any multi-colored shorts but that's just me..........

Use a little color coordination, and you will be fine.
