Having recently been there, IMHO, the best steak you can get in The Villages is at Honest Johns.

Papa's Filet at Hemingway's is delicious. Filet with lobster in a light sauce on top! Top quality. I also love the Filet Marchand de Vin at Lopez Legacy. Tough choice which one is better. On Thursday they serve the filet at Lopez with complementary Bananas Foster prepared tableside. Mmm. That's makes it the winner.

Funny! I remember that van when I first moved here, and fell for that line. HA HA HA

Capital Grille (there's one in Orlando and Tamps). Expensive and worth it. One of the rare area restaurants that provide prime dry aged steaks.

If you don't mind grilling your own steaks, then try Aldi's shrunk wrapped rib eye steaks. Usually $9.99 a lb. and the best Delmonico I've had in years. Just add a little Montreal steak seasoning and cook it medium rare. Great flavor and super tender.

I'll just bet the OP was thrilled to have this hijacked by people who think that a person asking about average cost restaurants really wanted to know about high priced restaurants that he may well not be able to afford.
