How did you like the restaurant with regard to the meal, service, drinks and ambience?

We had 7:00 reservations nobody in the main dining room was wearing shorts. Our food and service were excellent. Split a bottle of wine and the price was fine. Our 4th time there and going back soon.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll put "plantation" on my list of eateries which also include "pits, caves, shacks and huts".

"Dress code - appropriate attire for dinner at The Rose Plantation is business casual to semi formal. We ask that no t-shirts, flip-flops, ball caps or shorts be worn. If any of these are worn, for dinner, you may be seated in our outdoor cocktail lounge area. Lunch attire is casual." FYI: I just cut and pasted from the restaurants webpage.

We should have a poll for when they go out of business. I'll take October 17, 2018.

Seen plenty of the hundreds of shorts and sneaker restaurants around here change hands and go out of business. Not a big deal. No one cares when there's plenty more mediocre establishments to take their place.

Glad someone wants to try harder... try something different. I say good luck to them.

It's nice to see there are still men who want get dressed and take their wives out. They've got my support.

it it's like shooting fish in a barrel during the high season but in July they will be begging for customers, The regular restaurants have a hard enough time making it much less somebody that wants all the houty toutys ,, 100° out you're not going to get men to wear long pants
