Default Las Tapas

Just an FYI -Stop by Las Tapas Resturant in Brownwood tonight if you have a chance. Besides the good food, my friends Lisa Beck and Jim Locke - aka "Rock Solid" is the entertainment tonight. If you like to dance or just listen to great music come check them out. The music starts at 7pm!

It is a fun place but I would stick with the tapas which generally are very good...the paella is a disappointment.

I thought the same thing about the paella. It was okay, but different than what I'm use to. It wasn't a deal breaker and I'll go back. My friend had the tapas dishes and it was wonderful. I've read many complaints about portion size but we left full with a box of leftovers in hand.

I agree completely.
And i told Antonio, the cook and owner.
He insisted that is the way his region of Spain does paella.

I have had paella in Madrid, San Juan PR, Miami, etc and unfortunately this paella us the worst.
I really hope they improve it.

But i do LOVE their tapas! I try to give them business. We go often.

Sounds like a good deal on Monday nights.
Thanks for the news, Bonny.
I wonder if they will continue with that in season . . . I hope!

The tuna tapas was splendid . . . very rare but very creamy and rich tasting. I LOVED it.
