I like the Pizza at Mom and Dad's on 441. They have a large number of gluten free selections and they make everything in house. It's VERY yummy. I know a bunch of places around that have gluten free selections let me know if you need more.

I think Toscani's near Mulberry Grove has a GF pizza.

MicheleE - I'd love to know about more gluten free places. I am learning to ask when we go out and have been surprised when I can find gluten free pasta in some Italian restaurants.

And if you are at Disney or Universal restaurants (not walk up fast food), they can usually provide GF choices. If you make reservations, tell them you need GF (or other special diet needs) and they will flag your rez and a chef will talk to you before you order to make sure your needs are met. |

Following are some of the places in the Villages where I eat that have GF choices/menus.
Besides Gluten free, I don't eat any grains except rice so many of the pastas around town are a no-no for me. Most of the following have GF menus to just ask them for one Olive Garden (GF pasta contains corn) Bamboo Bistro (ask they to let you see the GF Menu) ask for GF soy sauce Mom & Dad's (the best choices and they make their own GF bread!) Eden Prairie Country club Bonefish Grill Carrabas Italian grill Five guys burgers and fries (order burger without a bun and they have a fries only fryer so there is no cross contamination) Red Tomatoe (most salad things are gluten free and they have a selection of muffins that are gluten free and their chilli is gluten free Most places will make accomodations for you if you ask. |

It's good to share the GF places to eat BUT the OP was asking where to find GF pizza. I know Bravo has it..."think" Cane Garden might. If you have Celiac you need to be careful for cross-contamination. I asked just this week at Papa Murphy's (the take and bake pizza place) if they have it---they don't but are working on it to be a possibility!
IF one is concerned about carb intake the prepared GF foods are high in the glycemic index so needs to be eaten sparingly. |

Somebody asked about other gluten free places. The only thing you do have to worry about is cross contamination if you are celiac but I am not celiac - I have a gluten sensitivity so I've stayed away from it for about 1 1/2 years.

Cane Garden has decent gluten free pizza and my wife, who has celiac disease, has not gotten sick there. They also can serve gluten free buffalo wings that are baked. If you enjoy pasta, try Confessore Italian restaurant on 441. She loves there gluten free pasta and they are very careful to avoid cross contamination.

Hemingway's (old Havana restaurant) has a gluten free menu. I'm not sure if pizza is on it. Also, they checked with their chef for our friend, and the shrimp & grits are gluten free but not on the GF menu for some reason. Our friend tried it and didn't get sick.
