Default Mezza Luna

Went to Mezza Luna for dinner last night and it was yummy. We got Lasagna and a Stromboli. I have to say, the marinara sauce for the stromboli is the best and freshest tasting I've ever had. We had plenty to take home. The lasagna came with a nice salad.
They had a nice crowd. There was a birthday party going on. We saw everyone eating and it looked like everyone was enjoying their food. We sat at the bar for dinner.
We have always had good meals here & the drinks are good.
Lou Gatto was the entertainment and he's a lot of fun.
It was a fun enjoyable night & Andrew behind the bar always takes good care of everyone.

Bonny, we were sitting at the other end of the bar. Good entertainment with Andrew adding to the fun. Looks as though things are looking up at Messa Luna.

Good place for drinks and maybe pizza. The rest of the food is disappointing.

I thought about trying them out again after reading your post but then proceeded to look up their health score rating. It is presently a dismal 69 with most of the other restaurants around us (excluding Beef O' Brady's in Colony which has a horrible 59!) being in the 90s and even 100. I will wait to see if they clean up their act before patronizing them again.

If I cared about every rating, I would never eat out. In fact, I probably wouldn't eat at my house. LOL
I've lived this long and never gotten sick from any restaurant.

we went there about a year with my wife's sister, it was lunch time-the place was basically, empty-my sister in law ordered the stromboli--it was inedible

she shared what we ate and left, she had a flight to catch--and we left

Haven't been there since

They did have a very good bartender-its been so long don't remember his name

May give it another shot-if they screw up this time-never again

You are probably talking about Andy/Andrew. He's a great kid.
We always get the stromboli and share it. If we are hungry, we usually get a pizza.

One of the most honest posts that I've read on TOTV in a long time. 🍴

Default burnt pizza crust

Picked up pizza from Mezza Luna and the crust was burnt and when I called them they did not really care. We have had lunch there a few times and pleased. I had planned on not supported their business anymore but I went there today and pleased to report that Mezza Luna did make good on the pizza and the Manager handled it very professionally. Will support there business again.

Being fairly new here I have noticed that you post lot's of opinions on restaurants. I also have observed that you prefer sitting most of the time when given the choice at the bar for dinner...Why ?

To us the bar is uncontrolled mayhem certainly not what one would expect on going out to dinner for a relaxing quiet evening with friends/partner/family and conversation on a now and then evening out.

So by choice why do you subject yourself to that...Curious..

Interesting perspective. If given a chance we will sit at the bar 95% of the time. Faster and friendlier service almost always and love the atmosphere!
