For Gracie: The Villages Gourmet Club Restaurant Review Site

We ate at Eaton's Beach in Weirsdale again last night (Saturday). It was perfect. We went with five other couples so there were 12 of us with a 5:30 pm reservation. We got there at 5 and they actually had our table ready before 5:30 p.m. Everyone's order was perfect and not one dissatisfied person in our party. Down to the coffee and dessert, I would highly recommend this place. Very crowded, but well worth it. We dined and then went to see the Nashville Hurricane at the State Theater in Eustis. Very nice food and show but even better company. I love our neighbors! Eaton's Beach Sandbar & Grill | Sandbar & Grill on Lake Weir, Weirsdale, FL.

Look at this page of 14 star ratings-one of the highest given- on The Villages Gourmet Club website: http://thevillagesgourmetclub.com/search.html

I EDITED THE POST TO PROVIDE A DIFFERENT LINK TO SEARCH FOR RATINGS.

Default Great Italian Food

I have never had a bad meal from Pasta Faire in Bellview. About 20-25 minutes North of The Villages. Terrific Italian food and awesome Rosemary Wood Fired Chicken, and the prices are oh so reasonable!! Well worth the trip.

I like Past Faire too. The owners also own Taverna Red.

I don't think you can beat Katie Belle's brunch. Love TooJays and the Lighthouse's scallop basket is the best. The CCs are good too. I love the Mission Inn in Howie in the Hills, Ipanema's in Ocala...I am beginning to realize I eat out entirely too much.

Hands down, the Lopez Legacy Club is the best restaurant in The Villages.

Oakwood is best for BBQ.

Sunday brunch at Hacienda Hills Club is great - as are all of their meals.

Glenbrook Club has never let us down. Nice atmosphere and good food.

Harry's Seafood in Ocala for a good New Orleans style dinner.

Thai Ruby at Lake Sumter Landing for good Thai food. Ask for "medium heat" or it will be too bland as they cook for the Villagers general taste.

Changed my mind recently to thinking Arnold Palmer is one of the best.. Had a wonderful dinner there when the kids were here. More expensive than most places here but excellent food and service. I am going to copy the list above so as not to walk on valuable information.

I guess I'm a fast food kind of a guy. Since Jersey Mike's opening in front of Target back around November it has become a weekly habit for us. I don't think I'll ever eat at Subway ever again. I've only had the cold subs but I hear the steak and hot subs are also good. We joined their club when they opened and they will scan your key tag everytime, so far we've gotten one free sub and they owe us a free sub next time. What I like most is for every sub the meat is cut at the time they make it right in front of you and none of that premade meat packs they slap on the bread, and they also have really great bread.
