Default Orange Blossom Hills Country Club

From our unmentionable on-line resource:

Renovated Orange Blossom Hills Country Club to reopen Monday

The long-awaited reopening of Orange Blossom Hills Country Club is almost here.

The renovated restaurant on the Historic Side of The Villages will celebrate its reopening with an official ribbon-cutting at 9 a.m. Monday.

Fred Karimipour, who also runs Bonifay, Evans Prairie and Belle Glade country club restaurants is now running the Orange Blossom restaurant.

The restaurant, built in the mid-1980s, is a Villages original. Many Villagers have fond memories of seeing Harold Schwartz golfing at Orange Blossom Hills Golf Course, the oldest 18-hole championship golf course in The Villages. He was a regular at the restaurant

Hooray and hallelujah! So wish I could be there for this! Hope someone posts pix and the new menu!

We moved here 14 1/2 years ago. We would always see Harold at Orange Blossom and Cafe Ole'. He always hung out at those 2 places. Talking with everyone and waving as people walked by. He was such a nice man !

Default I suspect.....

that the prices at the new Orange Blossom CC are going to be a little higher than they are use to paying.....$7.00 for pie, $6.95 for bowl of soup, $10.00 for a burger....

I think that is better than the doors and windows being boarded up. If the prices are too high, Wendy's is just accross the street.
BTW who is "they"?

Default "They" would be previous customers

I was only showing concern and I doubt I'm alone with this conclusion...Is there only one option, Closed and boarded up or prices that will eventually result in the same option, I hope I'm wrong...As I recall previous tenants prices were less, am I wrong???

Just got back from the new Orange Blossom . In a word .......GREAT ! Completely remodeled, bar in the center with one side outside. We sat outside overlooking the pool. Great view of the sunset. Food was terrific. I had the salmon and it was fresh and delicious. My wife had the fish and chips. It was so light , crunchy and fresh. Not a bit greasy. Chips ( fries ) that come with it were not the best though. Will definitely return.

We had a nice meal tonight (Friday). In and out in 70 minutes. Boy, the place sure has changed. Big bar in the south room now. Lots of servers (tripping over each other) seemed well trained and polite. Jose even had a suit on! Jason and Graham made the rounds too. Food came out promptly and was hot. Very much like the other Country Club restaurants in the group. We hope they succeed. The historic side needs a good place to eat.
