We went for lunch and the waitress messed up our order. All I got was a cup of soup. When the owner found out, she comped the full check. Very nice, but I left hungry.

Been reading reviews-one thing struck me as extraordinary--a person oder a Glenlivet on the rocks-pricing was the following: $13.00 for scotch, $5.00 single malt up charge--, $3.00 for a rocks pour-- $21.00 for one drink hope it was the 18 year old

Finally made it to the Rose Plantation: This is what we had: 4 Grey Goose Martini's, Bottle of Gundschlap Cab, Shrimp cocktail, Ahi Tuna, Rack of Lamb,Delmonico Steak--2 expresso's with Sambucco

It was the best meal we have had ever in the Villages area--service was professional and attention to detail was evident

Cost with tip $301.00

We will be headed to Ocala next week to try out the Sky --its menu looks unbelievable

Golly. Y'all must be rich. Where I grew up talking about what you paid for something (if it was a LOT) was on the same level as discussing sexual prowess.

But Hey... People keep saying we have freedom of speech.

So about $150 per couple, with drinks, appetizer, wine with dinner. Info gives people a heads up before making reservations.

Bonefish grill last night was over $60 last night with no liquor. Food was not fabulous, but ok and staff was rushed, but pleasant

Where I grew up people tended to keep unsolicited opinions to themselves.

That bill was for 2 people. The shrimp cocktail and ahi tuna are appetizers.

If the Ahi tuna was an appetizer I read it as $150.00 per person. Unfamiliar with the wine choice, but a good bottle of wine can easily add $75.00 to the bill. So it's about in line with an Epcot signature restaurant.

I had dinner there last night and the ahi is an appetizer. My husband and I split the 16oz prime rib. There is an $8 split charge and that includes 2 sides for each person. Last time we were there I had the duck and it was excellent. Rose Plantation is our favorite restaurant in the area.

Sorry mistook the ahi as a dinner. So rates up there with Victoria and Alberts, with multi courses and wine.

Actually the ahi is also a dinner choice but probably appetizer in this case.
