Default Takis (Greek-Italian)

This place is in a little trip just off-of US-441 and almost next door to Lowes.
Takis serves a Greek and Italian menu. The interior is nice. The food is good, the prices are reasonable, and the portions are big.
For a starter, I really like Saganaki (a Greek cheese flambe). My favorite Greek item is Gyros sandwich or platter.
My friend ordered a calzone. It could have served three people. She took most of it home.
I recommend the Greek red wine. VG
I've heard that Takis' pizza is VG, too.

This is the original Takis owner.
Most people mis-pronounce the name.
It's not "Tak-ees", it's Tak-iss".

One of our favorite restaurants in the area for all the above reasons.

Curious, is the problem the bridge itself or the distance?

I always wondered if some people fear crossing the bridge.

Another vote for Takis. Best Moussaka, bar none, since I left New York. Their baby back ribs are fantastic. IMO better than Oakwoods, just saying!
