Texas Roadhouse has been approved by the Lady Lake Commission, and we should see it up and running in about 9 months or so. It is to be located between Sams Club and the Lady Lake Town hall on 441. Stein Mart also approved, will be located in the parcel behind McDonalds in Lady Lake.

Texas roadhouse is very similiar to codys including the peanuts on the floor. Most of them don't have happy hours as good as codys and no entertainment.

Does not have peanut shells on the floor they have a bucket on the table for you to put the shells in

We went to the JC Penny store in Clermont last week and out front was a Texas Roadhouse. We turned into the parking lot in hopes of getting lunch. Unfortunately they don't open until 4pm on weekdays. I know Outback use to be the same until about six months ago and I noticed the one here started to open for lunch. Hopefully with all the stores around the new Lady Lake Roadhouse location they'll consider opening earlier.

So glad that Texas Roadhouse is building a restaurant here. We really like their steaks and find their prices to be very reasonable. We have gone to their newest one in Clermont and it was great. If you are going use the call ahead seating and they really do get you in quick with that service. Longhorn here in the Villages is always packed and yet they have empty tables inside - don't understand that! Texas Roadhouse will give them relief when they open.

Two buckets per table - one full of peanuts in shells and one for shells?

Codys is more natural food. No MSG
Texas Roadhouse has MSG in everything.

we eat at the Texas Roadhouse in Orange City often and regarding the peanuts there, just toss them on the floor! Steaks are great, love the atmosphere although it not for everyone. Can't wait for them to open here!

Ate at Texas Roadhouse a dozen times in Colorado Springs--always great steak. Ate at Cody's LSL on our 1st trip to TV in Feb 14----it was late on Friday, about 9 PM and had the BEST steak I ever had in a restaurant. Went back in May 14 at about 6:30, extremely busy , and had the WORST steak and service I've ever had. I'll try Brownwood, but if it is bad again, Texas here we come!

If their ribs are like the "fall-off-the-bone" baby backs here in SE Houston, then you're in for a treat.
