next wed sept 9 at 4pm we will have another Meet and Greet on the porch of the sales office at Lake Sumter Landing. if the weather is bad we will try to get the back room at Panera's next door. we will discuss ideas for possible future activities and trips and hopefully each person will have a chance to introduce themselves and tell us a bit about themselves. afterwards, we can get together for a movie, or to go to the square or the Waterfront, or dinner, or whatever some small groups would like to do. IF we meet in panera's please order something so we will be welcome the next time

Hi. I'm a newly single woman in the Village of Tamarind Grove (My husband of 30 yrs passed away in February). I have been reluctant to join a singles club, but I definitely need some help in getting on with my life. I'm looking for some companionship, activities, and reasons to get up and smile every morning. I'm 70 yrs old and in good health and enjoy interacting with people from all walks of life. sorry i got called out of town urgently but katie will do a great job with the meeting...in case you miss it, i am trying to get a list filled out of who is interested in going on a group trip next spring. my suggestion would be italy as everyone i have spoken to wants to go there, and march because trips are cheaper and weather is mild. also helps those who rent their homes out at that time and gets us outta here during the crowded snow bird season. am open to any other suggestions anyone would like to make. let katie know today or pm me if you can't make the meeting.
