Default Meet & Greet Singles Lunch, Tuesday, Lake Miona Park

We have at least one new arrival, Karen, since our prior meet and greet at Sumter Square, so I have scheduled one for this coming Tuesday, April 22, at 12 noon, at Lake Miona Park on Rainey Trail. It is a bring your own lunch and soft drink brown bag affair. Feel free to bring your sandwich cut into two halves, as trading part or all of your lunch will be permitted! Just like school, the park does not allow alcohol.

Directions:
Going north or south on Buena Vista, go west on Rainey Trail at the traffic circle. Go 1/4 mile or so and when you enter a wooded area you'll see the park on your left.

It has picnic tables under roof, modern bathrooms, water fountains, and also horse shoe pits and bean bag toss if you have horse shoes or bean bags to bring! But mainly this is just to meet other singles over lunch in a quiet setting.

Default At Lake Miona PARK

Thanks Kitty for catching my error! I corrected it.

It is at Lake Miona PARK. It is not owned by The Villages. It is a county park.

With this park being outside The Villages, would it be correct to say the park is not accessible by golf cart?

-------------
There is no cart path going right by it, but carts are allowed on Lynnhaven Lane, which intersects Rainey Trail only about 1000 feet west of Lake Miona Park. If you do not have a car you could park in Ashland Village and have about a 3 block walk. The park is basically surrounded by The Villages, with Lake Miona on its southern border.

I won't forget. Another single lady told me today she'd like to me our non-group singles. I expect her to show up, but who knows!
