Default Jacob Wetterling Resource Center.

Jacob Wetterling Resource Center - Gundersen National Child Protection Training Center

This might be a good resource in certain situations.

I remember Jacob Wetterling going missing when I lived in Minneapolis and the Twin Cities and surrounding communities became involved in trying to find him.

People should check out some of these various victim/assistance providers based on some local tragedy or another. Some of these do very good work.

One from near where I used to live in Rohnert Park, CA. Polly's Story

I have issues with the death penalty...but not for child murderers. Too bad the taxpayers in Minnesota have to pay to incarcerate this individual for the remaining years of his life. Hope his time in prison is miserable and hellish.

This man will probably be in solitary for the rest of his life as the other inmates might kill him otherwise.

My issue with the death penalty is that they might execute an innocent man or woman. I do not think though that they have to thus not use the death penalty, they just have to change the legal system so that all parties are trying to get at the truth rather than playing adversarial games. Educate the jurors to think for themselves. Maybe I have watched 12 Angry Men too many times.
