Default Pierrepoint: The Last Hangman

Pierrepoint: The Last Hangman (2007) - Rotten Tomatoes

Very well acted movie about the executioner of some of the worst criminals in world history-- Nazi war criminals-- as well as those of British society around the period from 1934-1955.

He hung about 200 of these war criminals in his career. Albert Pierrepoint - Wikipedia

Some of these criminals he hung were women from many walks of life. I found the actor who played Ruth Ellis particularly interesting in how she played this villain of going to her death with a smile--
Ruth Ellis - Wikipedia

And they even showed him hanging an innocent man which you kind of felt that he might have thought was innocent-- Timothy Evans - Wikipedia
