We lost one of the greatest, if not the greatest, rock n roller today. May his music live forever. Hail, hail, rock and roll!

VIDEO: That time Chuck Berry played a car-dealership grand opening in Ladner - Surrey News

Cool link from Chuck Berry's Facebook page. Not sure if this his official Facebook page or some fan site.

Quite a loss. Favorite Chuck Berry tunes:

Maybellene
School Days
Memphis, Tennessee

The first two for the music and lyrics, the last for the music.

Let's not forget My ding-a-Ling, Chuck's only #1 single in America. I bought the live album in '72 that the single was taken from. It's a show in the UK and the promoters are trying to clear the house for a Pink Floyd show, apparently the tickets were sold separate. As the record fades out, nobody is leaving and all you can hear is the crowd chanting 'we want Chuck' and the promoter is saying, 'they'll be no Pink Floyd show unless you clear the house.

I see all the tributes to Mr Berry...However he had a very seedy side...He went to prison for transporting a 14 year old girl across state line to the sole purpose to engage in Sex.

Music sure if you like his brand but also mention his " Other Side " while your at it. Not your typical upstanding citizen.
