Just be aware that this is a l-o-n-g ride. We have the the bus several times but it a "local" and not an "express" trip with several stops along the way and a layover in Ft. Pierce. If you don't want to drive at all it is a good option.

We just did a cruise out of Lauderdale and our bus transport was thru AAA/ Lamers and the bus experience was fine although we prefer to drive down the day before cruising and grab a hotel that included parking for the week.

They only go on certain days and you are limited to two suitcases and one carry on. The leave from McDonalds in Summerfield. Just called them. We will probably use a rent a car. Want to take case of water aboard also this time since we live down here now, and do not want to leave car out for 49 days.

Any hotel recommendations in Lauderdale? We've done that for Canaveral and Tampa but not Lauderdale.

Thanks

We stay at the Rodeway Inn & Suites 877-792-8181 / 954-792-8181. Ask for the stay & park cruise pkg. We just stayed there last week and we were charged $160 incl taxes. Restaurant on site for dinner... free breakfast and free shuttle to & from cruise port which is about a 6 minute ride.
