If you are planning to buy, buy this time as prices have skyrocketed and I think they will go up further, as build-out nears completion. Whenever that may be, as only Gary Morse knows.

I know the feeling. We did the same thing for about 7 years, but finally bit the bullet and bought this year. As 2B says above, the prices have really gone up which was the incentive for us to buy in now. I agree with him that they will probably continue to rise for some time yet. Enjoy your stay! Hope that you will decide to join the rest of us in paradise soon!

Prices were really going up in 2007 also.

How could possibly come here five times and not buy a house and move in?

I was here for one day and decided this was it.

Same here and we felt negative about 55+ communities in general.
Within 30 minutes we knew we would list our home in Winter Park and move here.
2 years later and we still pinch ourselves.
Some people just take longer than others.

Just drove through TV and knew this is where we wanted to retire. Got goose bumps when I looked at our house the first time. We knew within a few minutes is was the one, only problem was we were not retired. Bought it anyway and are now looking at becoming a "FROG" in July. YIPPEE!! We have never once thought we made the wrong decision.

Sounds like we need to bring our check book when we come for our visit in May. We already listed our house this pass week and the realtor already is planning an open house.

It is scary since we haven't visited yet. If it sells fast I guess that will be our answer. We have already sold our Sea Doo this week with out even trying. Someone came by today and wanted our pontoon. We told the guy we need to wait until the house sells. We need toys to play on the Colorado River.
