Any Villager Archaeologists out there?
I found this interesting rock in my yard while gardening. It looks to me that it might be an axe head as there appear to be tool marks on one side and an indent where twine might have been wound to attach the head to a spear. I cannot drive a car so traveling to a museum is not an option. I'm hoping we have an expert among us willing to take a look at it.

I also found a fossil sea urchin a few feet away from this piece.

I'm not that familiar with Florida's past but I believe the Seminole once were here.

Thanks!!! Collections | National Museum of the American Indian I visited this museum in May 2015 but unfortunately they had their spear heads, arrow head, tomahawk heads and the like all put away somewhere. So, I did not get to see them.

Looks like limestone which is way too soft to be used for tools. You could probably tap the side with a hammer and it would break in half.
