Default Homeless vets donations Villages home pickup Tues. July 23, a.m.

Veteran's Homelessness Transition will be picking up donations Tuesday morning in The Villages. It's late notice, but if you call 352-552*3899, Helen will probably work you in.
They need thrift store donations of furniture, household goods, used tools and guy stuff, clothing and the kitchen sink. Also hygiene and health aids unused.

Veteran Organization of Resource and Recovery for the Homeless

VORRH will be setting up a regular pickup schedule soon.

TV got picked up today by an amazing crew of 4 Vets. It was an honor to meet them. They are obviously dedicated to helping their fellow Vets. Lloyd, the driver, told me that they would take most anything. They often take items to Vets that stay in the woods. They plan on pick ups in The Villages the 2nd and 4th Wed of each month now.

What a worthwhile organization. Thank you Kitty for your referral.

When I came back from Vietnam ,I had beer cans and insults thrown at me in Seattle airport .I`m glad the attitude has changed towards veterans. I hope it`s not to late for some of the former protesters to help right a wrong.
