He may have finally retired. He is a Villager, after all.

He wrote an article a few weeks back announcing his retirement. He did say he would be an occasional contributor, and I too miss his columns.

I met him at a social event 10 years ago when I first arrive and he looked to be well into retirement age then. so it appears is retirement is well deserved and earned

I miss his reporting too.
