Default Glassing in lanai

Looking for recommendations on glassing in our lanai. Still want to be able to open up for the breeze, but close it up to keep out the rain.

You should get at least 3 quotes. Make sure one of them is from Custom Windows, 352-787-9797

We used Brian Terry Vinyl. Very happy with the construction and quality of the sliders. Small add, an outside light has to be installed over exit door. A quote from another was a solar powered light. But ours is hard wired. I also feel our sliders are heavier construction, but move very easily on the track. Also recommended blowing more insulation overhead since the lanai will be enclosed.

Custom Windows in Leesburg. They do it in one day and they do not remove the screening until the day they come to install glass. This way you are not without the use of your lanai for weeks waiting for installation like with other companies. They have a showroom off of 441 to see their products and 4 years later we are still satisfied with our full length stackable sliders.

We have a siding home. When we enclosed the lanai, we had siding on the bottom three feet or so. In hindsite, I wish we had glass to the floor. Our guy said glass would be too heavy for us to open if it went to the floor. I think he just doesn't like dong it. Maybe too much work on his part?

We used T&D for our renovation. Handled each and ever detail. So happy with the results.
