I just saw one of the Weekly circulars. It seemed like they had good prices, but I never heard of no one going there. So I thought that may be something up with the place. All responses would be greatly appreciated. TIA

It would be a good idea to carefully watch the expiration dates of whatever you buy.

Shop there all the time and have never had a problem with expiration dates or anything else. Produce and meats are fine.
They have even started selling name brand items. I know many Villagers that shop there. Much more reasonable than
Publix and WinDixie.

IMHO, it makes Walmart look like Neiman Marcus.

Do you buy farm raised fish or shrimp or?
A few years back, we went to the Orient on a trip, part business part pleasure. So check this out.
They find a deserted cove, let us say the size of several football fields. They build fish pens and elevated walkways over this entire cove, maybe 10 maybe 20 or more acres. They have a huge fish farm going and on top of the fish boxes and pens in the water, they support cages with thousands of chickens. They also have shanty buildings for the workers, hundreds of them. Now where to you think the chicken droppings go, where does the human sewage go? Uh well let's see.
I have a Fish and Game friend, he says fish will eat anything they can ingest and swallow. Farm raised and farm fed, check it out, do you know what you are eating?
Yuk
