Default Haciendas of Mission Hills - For Sale

Noticed that the villas at Haciendas of Mission Hills are now being released for sale. Checked the web site and the prices for the villas that are literally right on the golf cart path start at $274k. First four on the water start at $341k. Interior lots are not bad in the low $200's.

Plus, so close to 466 and Morse Blvd, seems like you's hear the traffic noise.

Question

I haven't checked them out but from what I understand these villas will have 2 car garages. Can anyone either confirm or deny that? I'm not interested in buying, just curious.

Question:

Why do you suppose they're called ". . . at Mission Hills?" Anybody notice any hills in the vicinity?

i don't know the developer's rationale for the naming...but i do have a friend who feels that there are so many 'hills' on the palmer course that it is a true 'mission' for him to complete it!

A friend of mine who works at one of the Sales Centers told me that 25 villas went up for sale on Monday...and 15 of them sold that first day!

We bought one. The noise along the water side is not significant. The view is fantastic and the sounds of the the birds and crickets is nice to hear. We do have a two car garage. Gorgeous view and can see sunset just like on the bridge.

Has anyone noticed the sudden stop in building on these sites?? Rather interesting that one sink hole has already been reported there.. What's one to expect for homes built on what was once marsh land that has been filled to the brink!! Let's see - close to the road, backed up by marsh land and really close to golf cart path and overly priced... Interested buyers should check out the Appraiser's office and check out the soil type on which these expensive villas are built!!! Yes, they're attractive, but would you be wise to buy on that alone. Better check out this neighborhood before you buy....

Hi, Can you tell me where the article or report is about the sink hole? I am qute interested obviously in reading it as one of the buyers there, I had not heard about it. The building was always being delayed about three months after the first lot of villas was built. I was aware of that and it was not tied to any problems. I am interested in more info, thank you.

Way over priced for what you have there, traffic, noise, sink hole type soil.

Had all intentions of buying there but after seeing and doing homework knew it would be hard to get money out of them.
