I thought the group were excellent musicians and liked the song mix. Could have used less of the crowd interactive part of the performance. Agree they may be more appealing to a bit younger crowd and bet they would be a bigger hit at Brownwood. Returning to Spanish Springs May 1st, would encourage all to give them a look see. Hope they become regulars at the squares.

I love classic rock & roll. Loved all the big hair bands in the 70's & 80's. Led Zep would have been a good start for me.

If you want variety and a change of pace tonight at
Lake Sumter is Blue Stone Circle . . . they'll play anything
from Charlie Daniels to Def Leppard . . .6 members they
all sing and sing well. And now and then do a great Fiddle
act, we enjoy them.

Love this band, and the crowd last night seemed to love them as well. I thought closing with that Beatles medley was a fantastic choice.

For some more insight, this band performed under the name "Mulch, Sweat and Shears" for more than a decade at Disney's Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World. They were themed as a group of landscapers, and would drive out into the park in a truck and perform. That's where a lot of the crowd interaction in their show comes from. And the Disney connection is also why they are top-notch musicians. Their run at the park ended last year.

I agree, the vocal mix was not good, hopefully the sound tech works on that for next time.

I'd encourage everyone to go out and see them as well.

We have lived here for 22 years and in the beginning we were thrilled to hear 50's & 60's music because we were 50 & 56 which was geared more to us during our teenage years. Music has always seemed to be stuck in a rut here, which is why we stopped going to the squares. Although we are now in our 70's, we like 70's, 80's and 90's music. I even like some of the hits from more recent times. Entertainment needs to keep up!

I grew up listening to 70's and 80's music. Would love to listen to more of that era -- Not too interested in listening to the same 'old' songs. And throw in some current country music!

Everyone knows that rock and roll achieved perfection in 1974. It's a scientific fact.

Petrina just performed for the Hadley social club and she was fantastic !!! Great music and a wonderful performer. I agree we need more 70's and 80's music. One of our clubs was going to have a 50's hop for their meeting and could not sell tickets. Then they changed it to 60's 70's and 80's and people starting buying tickets.

We really enjoy Meredith Walker and MPiRe.
They do songs from the 60's to today.
