Default Comcast Price Changes

There was a blurb in the Orlando Sentinel about a price increase in certain services and equipment effective April 1st. I did not see a corresponding article in the Daily Sun.

This is informational only.

that should be the last thing to do is increase, I think direct tv has them beat with a better price. I have Comcast, but we are switching to Direct Tv. Got to figure out what to do about the internet now.

Most people that go to the Dish go to Embarq DSL. If you do, make sure you have a telephone jack available. I say this only because a neighbor switched and did not have a telephone jack anywhere near the computer and had to have a line run.

We dont use a home phone, we just use our cell. Do we have to get home phone service with Embarq to get the dsl service? If I get rid of Comcast TV service, they said I could keep the high speed cable, but it would go to lke 59.00 a month.

Gmoney, Comcast has a lower speed internet that's $24 /month (and plenty fast for me). Nothing to do with subscribing to other stuff.

You have to go to the office on 27 and ask the rep, the phone people aren't very good at all on this stuff.
