Default Golf Cart Insurance

Do most golf cart owners in TV carry insurance on them?

And for that reason make certain you get Un-insursed/under-insured coverage

That's why I asked the question was to see if we should get Uninsured. So do the majority fall into the "Smart Ones" or the "Stupid Ones"?

Regardless if the majority are "smart" or "otherwise", it only takes a hit by one person who does not have insurance to ruin your day...and you read about some very strange golf cart accidents occuring here in TV with both young (some very young) and older drivers. Plus there are a number of rental golf on the road and with all I read here on TOTV, who knows if they have insurance....insurance that will pay if a serious accident occurs.

YOu should also be aware that Golf Carts donot fall under Florida's No Fault rule, so to get paid, you must go after the person at fault.

The added cost for UnInsured motorist for a golf cart is miniscule

Same coverage as my auto, lower limits, of course, cheaper premium.
Having seen some of the exploits around here, never leave home without it...
