I'm sorry Ricky my math is bad before lunch. The actual figure is 2.4% of our population of 325,000,000.

You can always edit your post, you don't need to post again.

As to religious displays, if it's on private property and doesn't violate deed restrictions...I personally have no problem with it.

On public property however..is another matter entirely.

Unless those advocating for it, allow any and all religions to do the same.

Why do I get the strong feeling that isn't the case though and those proposing it...want only their religion to be able to do it?

So much for loving thy neighbor.

I would imagine that Pro Choice people might find it offensive.
So what if Pro_Choice people DO find it offensive ? What then ?

Just so happens that this couple from Ohio are my parents. They no longer are making them, but have passed the torch to others, including several churches here in Florida.

unpermitted lawn displays are a civil -not religious issue. don't confuse the two!

To each his/her own.

Our society used to be much more tolerant of such displays private property or public.

In current times with instant communications, special interest groups, minority groups, permissive of everything, do not do or say anything to upset anybody even if true or deserved.......the isolated case/individual can always find some form of communicating to present their case as if millions were being offended when in reality it is only one or two or even a few.

The other 99.6489326% of us have no problem.....just like we have not for the past 80 years!!

The church down the street from us puts these small crosses each representing an abortion. Not sure where the stats come from, but the amount of crosses changes every month. There is a sign posted as to why the crosses are displayed

Per Wikipedia article on Irreligion in the United States approximately 62% of the US are religiously involved.

38% of the 325 million population would mean that over 123 million Americans do not participate in religions.

" In 1776, only 17% of the US population was religiously involved in America and by 2000, the number of people who were religiously involved had actually increased gradually to 62%."
