Default A Big Step In The Right Direction

WE DID IT!!! We signed our contract today and got our closing date of Dec. 8. We will be on Bachman Path and starting the next stage of our metamorphosis from tadpoles to frogs. We will be moving in early Jan, unless we sell our house sooner and have to close earlier than we want. We will make other arrangements if we have to. We will not miss outran sale. Our house has only been on the market for three weeks and have had 10 showings. No offers, but we are confident that there will be a sale in time. Houses in our area are moving in 30 - 45 days. (Please extra fingers and toes crossed for us). We are very excited to get to TV and "get busy". We will be there soon!!!

B&BTexas - Best of luck in selling your house and moving to TV. Where in Texas are you located? I just got back from a 2 day business trip to Houston - 100 degrees one day, 102 degrees the next day. Whoo was that hotttt!

We are from San Antonio. 60+ days over 100' high of 113. Yes, very hot. Even worse, 2" since Oct. For most of Texas, it is being called "The Hundred Year Drought". All of these things combined is the primary reason for all of the wild fires. The cause, El Nina of the coast of Mexico and California. Naturally occurring weather phenomena. Last Winter was the coldest in many years. That is Mother Nature. In Texas, we learn that in time all things will get better and we will appreciate what we have. I hope we don't bring this type of weather with us. We have enjoyed the three trips to TV and can hardly wait to move here permanently.

No Problem just mildly curious:
Do CYVs tend to socialize primarily within their own complex? If this is is true is it due to perhaps a natural phenomenon created by "walls", both the exterior complex concrete and the interior vinyl walls?
Have seen signs in the some of the entrances indicating to residents the date and address of the next driveway party.

Default Met our new neighbors in Tamarind Grove this week!

We purchased our house this past week and went out to our property to check it out; while we were out there we met our new neighbors! We love them! Hope to meet the rest of our neighbors in December when we close!

Hello NoSnow,

I'm from Schaumburg so we are almost neighbors. What are you going to do this winter when you have no snow to shovel or ice to scrape off of your windshield? If you would like I can Fed Ex you a box of ice and snow this winter . Lucky people -- congratulations on your upcoming move to TV. Hope your move goes smoothly.
