Does anyone know where I might get a piece of corian or similar material for a project? I need a piece about 17"X 28". It's for an outdoor shelf.

no, but I imagine you could get a piece of granite from one of the dealers - remnant piece.

Thanx, go, but I need to drill and cut. Corian I can do, but not stone.

The granite dealers usually have Corian. Give them a call. A lot of time, for such a small piece, they have a stock pile of scrap outside that they could give you a deal!
