Default Beware of Emails promising gift cards

Anybody, besides me, getting these emails "congratulations" you have won $50 gift card from Walmart, Walgreens or Amazon? Or an email saying your order has been shipped when you never ordered anything?

The last couple of weeks we have many such emails. Of course, I don't open and just delete them. They look on the surface to be legitimate. I think someone is trying to "hack" into my system and get personal information. Beware! They are a nuisance for sure.

Wife tells me on a neighborhood website residents are saying that this has been turned over to "Seniors against crime".
